In this Project we designed and fabricated a Formula racing car to represent IIT Delhi and India in the International event, Formula Student organized by SAE International in Silverstone, UK 2012.

As joint coordinator of the suspension team, I engineered the suspension system of the car, incorporating kinetic and dynamic analysis in design. The design and analysis was done on Solidworks and Susprog3D softwares taking into account all the requirements of a racing car for maximum speed and stability.

The improved design of our suspension system reduced the weight of the suspension components by 15% in comparison to previous years' car. The improved suspension system also incorporated Anti Roll Bars’.

I managed a team of 5 people in the design and analysis stages, and led material procurement and participated in complete in-house fabrication
